Escape From Paradise City is a 2007 computer game created by Sirius Games, the sequel to 2004's Gangland. Published by Cdv Software Entertainment, it was released on October 27, 2007.

In Paradise City, the player takes on the role of a young, ambitious gangster with the single goal of becoming the most successful and influential criminal in the entire city. Move through the city, robbing, intimidating and killing all that stand in your way, gaining notoriety and cool cash. As the player becomes more and more notorious, his influence grows and other criminals flock to him and become the core of this gang, his own criminal organization. Leading his small but vicious crew of hardcore criminals, the player begins to take over the neighbourhoods of the city, forcing the innocent citizens to pay him tribute and the local criminals to serve him, fighting against his rivals and defending his territories.

Etrom The Astral Essence PC

The Astral Essence and a seemingly new face on the PC game-publishing landscape, a note of advice: hire more play testers! This hack-and-slash RPG should never have been let out the door of developer P.M. Studios, as all sorts of design flaws, crash bugs, an atrocious camera system, and PS2-era presentation values make it basically unplayable.

Beyond this, there is no explanation regarding why you're going off the reservation, nor even a mention of why you're toting a glowing magic axe while many of the armored future cops, ninja thief dudes, and zombies that you get to hack to bits are carrying guns. The same goes for the oft-bizarre backdrops, which abruptly switch from the likes of the aforementioned future world filled with computers and space-age disruptor blasters to underground D&D temples chock-full of zombies. Some of the above might be spelled out in the soliloquies that Etrom regularly lapses into, but his dialogue is so filled with New Age gobbledygook and grammatical errors that it's impossible to figure out what he's trying to say. Street racing is an unsanctioned and illegal form of motor racing that occurs on a public road. Street racing can either be spontaneous or well-planned and coordinated. Well coordinated races are planned in advance and often have people communicating via 2-way radio/citizens' band radio and using police scanners and GPS units to mark locations of local police hot spots. Opponents of street racing cite a lack of safety relative to sanctioned racing events, as well as legal repercussions arising from incidents, among street racing's drawbacks.

The sport of drifting and tōge (also transcribed touge) racing primarily from Japan has led to its acceptance in other parts of the world. Tōge—Japanese for "mountain pass", because these races are held on mountain roads and passes—generally refers to racing, one car at a time or in a chase format, through mountain passes (the definition of which varies per locale and racing organization). Examples of such roads include Del Dios Highway^[1] in Escondido, California, Genting Sempah in Malaysia and Mount Haruna, on the island of Honshū, in Japan. However, street racing competition can lead to more people racing on a given road than would ordinarily be permitted (hence leading to the reputation of danger inherent). Touge races are typically run by drifting at the curves or turns. In the chase format, if the leading driver manages to pull away from the trailing one by the finish line, he is determined the winner. If the trailing racer manages to stay on his opponent's tail, he wins the race instead. In the second race, the trailing driver takes the front place and the winner is determined using the same method. This is referred as a "cat and mouse race."

Unlike Alfa Romeo Racing Italiano, automobile makers from the United States (Chevrolet, Pontiac), Spain (SEAT), and Germany (Opel, Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz) are included. The race tracks have a more diverse feel to them compared to Alfa Romeo Racing Italiano (which had mostly Italian cities and countryside settings). City tracks include London and Berlin. In addition to the city tracks, there are circuits and countryside tracks. Cars are divided into several categories including hatchback, coupé, grand touring, and racing vehicles. Cars unlocked in career mode can also be used in the quick play mode once they are earned.

A full damage model is used for all cars in the game; driving off-road can also cause damage to vehicle through excess wear on the tires and the suspension system. Once the car condition meter becomes blank, the words "Car Wrecked" appears in red letters (ending the race because the car loses the ability to function properly as a race car). The car is rebuilt from scratch but the wreck is counted against the player in his career statistics screen. Getting bumped into a barrier by another automobile can either be better, worse, or the same as accidentally bumping into a barrier depending on the velocity of the vehicle(s) involved. A slide along the guard rail is enough to "wreck" a vehicle.

           The game takes place in 2016. Mankind reckons for five billion years before the Earth starts to die. In reality it turned out that human beings live their last fifty years. The Earth is beginning to turn into a lifeless hell because of the Sun, which is irreversibly growing into a «Red Giant».

In order to survive people have to invent a new form of life compatible with the human intellect or to find another planet with a common environment where people can leave. 

The «A.X.» Corporation, one of the largest genetic engineering companies, was called to carry out the scientific researches into mutations. In a while, the Corporation offered the technology that could allow human beings to survive in aggressive environment of an alien planet. The technology implied the substitution of the atom of carbon by the atom of the «A.X.» mineral. The first tests were extremely successful however such injections had to be repeated on a regular basis in order to survive and this would make all people depend on the «A.X.» Corporation eternally.

Shortly, it was rumored that the Corporation knew something about the planet with the environment similar to the Earth's but the Corporation concealed this fact for the purposes of earning money on the «A.X.» mineral and capturing the whole world.

However, there were no official reports neither about the planet nor about its location and nobody knew if this planet really existed or it was just a rumor. Nevertheless, the Government could not ignore this information, as this could be the only chance for the humankind for survival.

So, the Government commissions the main hero whose name is Frank to investigate this information. Frank will have to find out what is going on in the Corporation and about the planet where the mineral is extracted.
