THE POLITICAL MACHINE 2012

Play as the campaign manager for a host of candidates including real-life 2012 candidates, historical candidates or design one from scratch in this 2012 entry into the acclaimed political simulation game series. The Political Machine 2012 features updated political topics from across the United States. Issues such as Afghanistan, the economy, Obamacare, income inequality, gay rights, and the national debt have been integrated into the game’s election database. Regional issues such as “right to work”, state minimum wage, local environmental policies, farm subsidies and more require the candidate to walk a tight rope between appealing to the widest range of voters and appearing to “flip flop”.
The influential Keynesian economist John Kenneth Galbraith once said that "Nothing is so admirable in politics as a short memory," and developer Stardock apparently hopes that holds true to gaming as well. The newest installment of their long-running Political Machine franchise still delivers the quick, addicting bouts of light strategy and roleplay that made the 2008 release so enjoyable, but at the same time, it's so similar that you could be forgiven for thinking you were playing the same game. It's thus a little tempting to see this lack of change as a critique of politics as a whole. But considering that Stardock also removed some features for this new release, it's hard to see The Political Machine 2012 as anything other than a step back for the franchise.

Still, The Political Machine does a good job of including almost all the major movers and shakers of the contemporary political scene as playable characters, but it’s regrettable that there’s no option to pull a Ross Perot and run as an Independent. The candidates themselves take the form of the same ever-grinning bobble-head figures from previous games, and their design manages to walk a fine line that inspires laughter without offending either side. Players of a Democratic bent will smirk at the oh-so-serious mug of Al Gore (complete with a pitiful charisma rating), and Republicans might enjoy boosting Donald Trump's famed toupee all the way to the nation's highest office.

It's a shame, though, that we're stuck with the rogues' gallery of contemporary political personalities ranging from Minnesota's Al Franken to former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. In the past, you could butt heads with Barack Obama as Teddy Roosevelt or as the evil alien Lord Kona from Stardock's Galactic Civilizations franchise; here, Stardock bows to dull reality and the game's personality suffers for it. Even worse, campaigns (as in the sense of a story) and their accompanying maps no longer exist in the single-player mode, so don't expect to ride your votes to victory in Lord Kona's Drengin Empire as you did in 2008.

Skilled players will capitalize on score multipliers, discover secret extras, unlock equipment upgrades, and marvel at the many creative ways to discretely dispose of a body while they work to fulfil their contract in the most efficient way possible.

Every cracker with a little knowledge will know that reversed is always better and faster. It has been that since scene beginning, and will continue to be so in the future.Yes, there are some games with protections, that probably never would be released, because reversing them will take a great deal of time to do properly. We're not talking a couple of days of work, but rather a couple of months work to do a proper reversed crack of those games.
Especially some Starforce games have lately been in that category, so rather a release to a certain point, rather than no release at all. When that is said, then Steam CEG protected games is fully reversable within a reasonable time, and we have time after time proved that to the scene, so stop bullshitting that emulation is just as fast, and just as equal as an fully reversed exe. Suprise it's not But keep on releasing those emulation releases, that some users still won't be able to run, because of your method. Remember we offered your
Steam cracker help to do them properly.

In the end we will keep on propering your emulation work, so why not do them the right way, rather than getting propered everytime? We even told you to fix your Dirt Showdown release, but you can't, because your emulation method isn't far from perfect emulated.Quality has a price, but sadly you don't understand the terminology behind the word.
Key Features:

  • The high-powered Kazo TRG sniper rifle and a host of other upgrades can be unlocked and carried over into HITMAN: ABSOLUTION.

Afterfall InSanity Extended Edition

Almost 20 years ago the citizens of The Republic were forced to hide from the turmoil of the Third World War. The lucky ones secured their places in shelters – the fruit of proper forethought and planning. Now, when the fear of death is but a bitter memory, their safe hideout turns into a cursed prison. It should come as no surprise that some find this claustrophobia unbearable and the tiresome dream suddenly becomes a nightmare...

In Afterfall: InSanity our character, Albert, is a member of a team of medics, whose job is to monitor mental stability of shelter inhabitants. He specializes in the confinement syndrome, even though he is not entirely free from its symptoms himself. When all the hell unleashes, Albert will have to find answers to a crucial question: “Who is behind all this and why?", and try to filter his friends from the enemies. Not only will he face dangers lurking in the dark, but also overcome his own fears and weaknesses.
The protagonist of Afterfall: InSanity is Albert Tokaj,a member of medical team which takes care of the mental and physical well-being of citizens living in the shelter. He specializes in the mental disorder called confinement syndrome caused by being locked-up for too long, yet he himself is not free of its symptoms. When all hell begins to break loose Albert has to find the answers to many questions, the where and the why, who is a real enemy and who a trusted friend. He will have to face the dangers lurking in the darkness of the shelter and in Albert’s own mind, battling with his own weaknesses and fears.
In the Afterfall universe the World War II had ended differently. In the final moments of the war, Hitler managed to create his Wunderwaffe – a team of Nazi physicists finished the German atom bomb project. In January 1945, a V-2 rocket armed with a nuclear warhead fell on the Soviet army that was preparing to cross the Polish – German border. Military activities were stopped, and truce talks began. During these talks, first USA and then the USSR developed their own nuclear weapons. The atmosphere became tense. The border between Germany and Vistula wasn't ultimately set and Armia Krajowa or AK announced the creation of New Poland. In the aftermath of the treaties between Germany, USA and the USSR, New Poland became a buffer zone with US military bases spread around its territory. Thus begun the global Cold War. The US invested heavily in the development of Poland, especially its military industrial complex. Poland east of the Vistula and San – Socialist Republic of Eastern Poland - was under Russian influence and Warsaw, as its capital, was surrounded with the Warsaw Wall.In 1960, the rebellious Soviet general Kaiser fired a nuclear missile aimed at one of the USSR’s military bases in the former Eastern Poland. Kaiser announced that if USSR wouldn’t fulfill his demands, then had sixteen more of those missiles to fire. During the next seventeen days the USSR withdrew from the occupied part of Poland and Western Ukraine. Kaiser was proclaimed the Head of State and the era of Totalitarian Poland begun. The USA officially withdrew its army from Polish territories, but secret negotiations continued. They culminated with an unofficial agreement concerning further financial support and technological exchange. In 2011 Germany completed the development of a new bomb. Its real power was a mystery even to the bomb’s creators. One year later, the bomb called Entropy exploded over the English Channel. Whether by accident or part of an intentional action remains a mystery. As a result all of the rockets throughout the Cold War theater locked onto their targets and were fired at the same time. The Third World War became a fact; no one had time to ponder over the nature of that first explosion. Some of the people managed to hide in underground shelters which were a part of vast military complexes. Decades had passed before the first tentative expeditions were sent to the surface.
The year is 2035. About 20 years ago the citizens of The Republic had to search for a shelter from the hell of the Third World War. Yet, only few were fortunate enough to have a place waiting for them in the prepared shelters. With the passage of time the fear of death on the surface has become only an unpleasant memory, however, the seemingly safe hideout has turned out to be a curse which cannot be escaped. It was only a matter of time before somebody would snap, and thus the dream of safety becomes a nightmare prison.

Left 4 Dead 2 Cold Stream

Shooting your zombie pilot might seem like a good idea at the time, but in this campaign it only leads to fighting your way through a zombie filled warehouse section of town. Hold out in the truck yard until you can lower your escape truck and head to safety. Make your way down a turnpike littered with abandoned cars to the nearby ghost town of Riverside—the site of a failed stand-off between the last of humanity and a limitless swarm of undead. Fight through the ruins of small town America to the waterfront nearby, where a rescue party can take you upriver to safety.
Guide your team of Survivors out of the downtown and onto the runway of Metro International Airport, where the only thing standing between you and the last plane out of the city is a murderous army of the undead.
Plunge through pitch-black forests, stumble blindly through fields of swaying corn, and take aim at the silhouettes leaping at you from the darkness—all towards finding a hold-out that might already have been abandoned to the horde.
This community created campaign throws you deep in the back woods to face thousands of zombies as you battle your way to a helicopter rescue. Don’t let the water or waves of zombies sweep you away to your death.

Cold Stream:
- New weapons
- New campaign Cold Stream
- Ports campaign Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air, Death Toll and No Mercy in Left 4 Dead
- New Achievements
So, you’ll likely still have a great time with Cold Stream. It’s a competently put together new campaign, and definitely scratches that new Left 4 Dead itch. But, there’s just something missing. It lacks the usual magic that Valve games tend to attain. I’ve been struggling to put my finger on exactly what it is, but it’s honestly fairly difficult to say.
Perhaps it’s the lack of new voice work for the campaign. The map’s creators very cleverly put together old dialogue to estimate more or less what it would sound like, but it’s just not the same.
Perhaps it’s the slightly uneven difficulty. In Valve-designed maps, you constantly feel one step ahead of death. The zombies bear down on you, and you barely survive each encounter. Those moments exist in Cold Stream, but they’re definitely not common. And when they come, they come with fury. There’s a moment early in the campaign where you’re forced to fight your way down a raging deluge of water, all the while fighting off zombies. It sounds thrilling, but instead it’s far too chaotic and far too difficult.
For the Left 4 Dead veterans, however, the true value of the DLC lies in the re-release of four campaigns from the original game. Crash Course, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest are back, along with Zoey, Louis, Bill, and Francis. I know right? I missed those guys too. Plus, you get to play with the new toys that Left 4 Dead 2 introduced, like melee weapons and the ever-useless defibrillator, all in an attempt to survive the new Special Infected that seem to have invaded the old areas. Fresh!

Legends of Pegasus

Legends of Pegasus takes players into the depths of space. This 4X space simulation will put players in control of the last surviving humans, as they explore space in a quest to expand their galactic empire. Players will conquer and explore an incredibly detailed 3D universe as they use economic, diplomatic and scientific means to expand their empires. Through a deep technology tree, players will unlock new technologies to customize their ships and prepare their fleets for the next alien encounter â€Â¦ be it hostile or friendly.
Legends of Pegasus' storyline relies heavily on tried-and-true sci-fi tropes, particularly a Battlestar Galactica-esque survival/flight theme. At the beginning of the game, you are informed that Earth has been conquered in a surprise attack by an unknown alien force, and a small flotilla of ships has managed to escape through a wormhole. You command that flotilla, and, as luck would have it, you've got a colony ship with you. You need to colonize habitable planets, research new technologies, build bigger and better ships, and fight off constant attacks from aliens seemingly bent on hostility. It's all very hackneyed, including the few plot "twists" that you see coming from light years away.
All that said, the storyline is admittedly secondary to the gameplay, but Legends of Pegasus doesn't score many points for itself there, either. Played on large maps of fictional solar systems, Legends of Pegasus tries to replicate the feel of Sins of a Solar Empire's GUI, but because Legends of Pegasus is primarily turn-based (only battles take place in real time) and because its menus and controls are terribly arcane and unintuitive, it fails to give you much more than a general inkling of Sins' brilliant interface. Zooming, for example, a virtually limitless function in Sins, is strictly limited in Legends of Pegasus. This makes finding items of interest (such as waypoints or resource fields) a laborious, scrolling process. For some things, like your ships or asteroid fields, you can use predesignated icons to jump directly to them, but then you're likely to lose sight of whatever it is you want to be focused on at the same time, also resulting in needless scrolling and clicking.

BABEL RISING

In Babel Rising, gamers play as God, preventing humans from building the tower of Babel. Gamers can use their divine powers by hurling bolts of lightning, summoning massive earthquakes or unleashing gigantic floods upon the Babylonians. Mando Productions, the developer of Babel Rising, has built upon their original mobile release of Babel Rising by creating new 3D environments and integrating competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes.

Babel Rising tells that story in a more interactive form. You assume the role of God, and your job is to prevent the humans from constructing the famous tower. You're not ready to scramble brains just yet, though. Instead, you punish as many workers as possible, frying them with electrical bolts, blowing them every which way with howling winds, toasting them with fire, and drowning them in massive floods. Clearly, the game's developers took some liberties with the original story.

The game offers several control options and encourages play using the Kinect hardware. You might suppose that means the Kinect is the best way to play, but you're actually better off grabbing a standard controller. With the Kinect enabled, you spend too much of your time thinking about how you're supposed to move your body to issue commands, and any calibration issues are a huge deal because of the amount of activity and precision that are required to keep on top of things. Because no proper buttons are available when motion controls are used, the developers had to get creative. The result is even more work for you. For instance, you have to clap your hands each time you want to switch between skills instead of simply pressing a face button that corresponds to the ability you'd like to summon. Going controller free might have seemed like a good idea, but the setup is more frustrating than cool.

Key Features:

  • Prevent the Rise of Babylon – Prevent humans from building three different towers of Babel throughout different historic eras, in 15 single-player missions across 4 game modes.
  • Babylon Will Perish – Thwart a wide variety of Babylonians united in their desire to build the tower, always looking for the quickest path to the top. Workers carry stones, priest protect workers from spells, and siege towers help them access upper levels faster.
  • You are in Control of the Elements – Unleash devastating elemental attacks based on fire, water, earth and air, each with a unique effect depending on the target. Throw fireballs, release tornadoes, rain meteors, and much more. As you progress, your powers become deadlier and more powerful than ever.

Some months after the events of the film, Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy sneak into the restricted areas of Oscorp after hours, where Gwen reveals her suspicions that they may be continuing Curt Connors' cross-species experiments. In the process, they are caught by Alistair Smythe, the new director, who explains that some scientists were indeed secretly continuing Connors' cross-species experiments by injecting animals with human DNA; the cross-species carry a powerful virus and are currently being shipped to the bio-lab for disposal. At that moment, the cross-species all react to Peter's presence and escape, infecting all of the scientists, including Smythe and Gwen, in the process. Alistair unleashes his security robots, which are programmed to defend them from cross-species. However, they end up attacking Peter. Peter quickly dons his Spider-Man suit and gets the infected to quarantine, fighting off the robots in the process, but is unable to stop the cross-species from escaping into the city.
Spider-Man tries to fight off the cross-species in the city, but they all escape, and a giant security robot attacks him too, causing great damage to the city. Spider-Man goes to the Beloit Psychiatric Hospital, where Dr. Connors has been incarcerated since the Lizard's rampage, and informs him of the incident. Connors agrees to escape from the institution and help Spider-Man develop a cure for the outbreak on the grounds that he be returned to the asylum when the crisis is resolved. After breaking out Connors, Spider-Man returns to his apartment with Connors, where they immediately set up a laboratory to begin development of the antidote, which soon beccomes a race against time when it is discovered that Smythe is developing his own "cure" which involves nanobots destroying the host from the inside out. Along the way, Spider-Man hacks into police and Oscorp transmissions with his Spider-Tracers and forms an alliance with Whitney Chang, an investigative reporter who believes Oscorp's facelift operation is a scam.

Eventually, Connors manages to create an antidote, and Spider-Man rushes it to Gwen and the others at Oscorp; however, Smythe is skeptical that the antidote really works and impulsively uses it on himself. Unexpectedly, Smythe loses both the use of his legs and his mind, and programs his robots to attack Spider-Man in a fit of rage. Narrowly escaping Oscorp and getting back to his apartment, Spider-Man blasts Connors for the imperfect antidote before passing out from his injuries. While he is unconscious, Connors uses his blood to perfect the antidote, realizing that, since Spider-Man is a cross-species himself but retains his humanity, he was the key all along. Upon his recovery, Spider-Man immediately travels to the Oscorp biological labs, where Gwen and the others have been taken to be used as test subjects for Smythe's nanobot "cure," and successfully administers it to Gwen and the others.

Adventures Of Shuggy

Shuggy has just inherited a castle full of goblins, ghouls, zombies, and robots. Help him clear out over 100 rooms to make his new home liveable again! Every room in the castle is different, letting Shuggy fly, float, swing, spin, change size, time travel and more as he explores the Dungeon, Boiler Room, Clocktower, Gallery, and Graveyard.

The game follows the adventures of Shuggy - hence the title - a googly-eyed vampire who's inherited a great, grey, run-down Scottish castle from his grandfather. But it's a mess, infested with rats, spiders, bumblebees, levitating spiky ball things, electrical traps and more. And Shuggy, despite being a vampire, isn't a particularly tough guy. Contact with any of them means an immediate death - or, more precisely, an immediate restart - so he has to traverse every room in the house, "cleaning" them by collecting gems, while avoiding everything that moves.
It's a great spectacle, with bright, colorful graphics, a visual style that's best described as "Halloween whimsy gone wild" and an infuriatingly catchy theme song. (Seriously, this is going to be stuck in my head for days.) What makes it truly unique, though, is that it boasts a wide range of completely different game mechanics that changes from level to level. Some are very conventional - jump over monsters and between platforms, collect the gems and be on your way - but most serve up some sort of unusual twist to the action.
Some levels, for instance, have to be rotated in order to make all the gems accessible, while others are upside-down or sideways, leaving the control keys turned on end or completely reversed. Some make use of a bizarre time-reversal mechanic, complete with "30-seconds-ago Shuggy" following precisely in your footsteps and doing exactly what you've already done, and occasionally you'll even have multiple Shuggies who have to work together as a team. There's more - a lot more - and it can get quite devious.
Key Features:
  • Co-op play – Play 36 twisted two-player levels in the offline co-op mode, with puzzles that can only be completed through cunning and teamwork.
  • Non-linear map screen – Multiple routes through the castle ensure you’ll be able to find another route if you get stuck.
  • Boss encounters – Use your wit and cunning to defeat the dastardly bosses in each area of the castle.
  • Time travel – Get caught in a time loop and co-operate with your past echoes.
  • Rotation – Spin whole levels or interlocking puzzle sections to grab all the gems.
  • Seeing double – Utilize multiple Shuggys under the influence of different gravities.
  • Teleportation – Use Shuggy’s teleporter to solve some tricky conundrums.
  • Tied up in knots – Grab the magic rope and swing your way to victory.

Of course, it’s not just a simple matter of finding the exit; there are some obstacles along the way. Most of the time you’ll encounter guards who patrol their set path and come running when they hear a bomb go off. They’re also carrying flashlights of their own, and you’ll die an unceremonious and instant death by gunfire or laser if you get caught in their cone of light. Feel free to stand right next to them as long as you don’t let more than a couple pixels of your body enter their sights.
It’s also easy to lure the guards into bomb traps that eliminate them completely. Press the bomb button once to place the bomb and then hit it again to blow it up. This prevents you from placing multiple bombs all over the place but allows you ample time to walk to the other side of the level if you care to. The guards and other enemies won’t even notice if they’re standing directly on top of one.
Throughout most levels it’s more than a matter of simply finding and reaching the exit. You’ll collect computer chips and crystals for added bonuses and special levels. Some will even have the old key card business that will unlock passageways to completing the level. It adds a little extra puzzle element and reasons to not just find the exit as quickly as possible, though if speed is your bag, there are leaderboards for you to mark your territory.

Iron Brigade

Iron Brigade, formerly titled Trenched, is a 2011 video game developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Microsoft Studios as a downloadable Xbox Live Arcade title on the Xbox 360; it was later set for release as a Microsoft Windows title in 2012. Announced at the 2011 Game Developers Conference by Tim Schafer, Iron Brigade is a hybrid tower defense and third person shooter game, set after World War I in an alternate reality, where the player controls units from "The Mobile Trench Brigade" to fight off robotic species called the Monovision. The player controls giant mecha-style robots with weapon and armor customization through a variety of missions set across the world. The game was released on the Xbox Live service on June 22, 2011, with a delayed release in certain European areas due to trademark issues with the title, with its release scheduled for November 30, 2011 but was ultimately released on December 1, 2011 under the alternate name Iron Brigade. The name of the title was updated worldwide to Iron Brigade alongside the European release.
Set in an alternate history shortly after the end of World War I, a strange radio communication known as "the Broadcast" is sent across the world and caused many people who listened to it to die. Two war veterans, Frank Woodruff and Vladimir Farnsworth, survive the attack and gain super-intelligence and a knowledge of advanced technology. Frank, having previously lost his legs in the war, uses his knowledge to design and build mechanical walking platforms called "mobile trenches," giving other disabled soldiers the ability to move again. Vladimir on the other hand creates the Monovision, allowing people to experience the world from the comfort and isolation of their homes. Vladimir is driven insane by his own invention; bent on global conquest, he constructs Monovision-based robotic creatures, derogatorily called "Tubes", and lays Monovision cables across the world. As Vladimir's forces spread, Frank's "Mobile Trench Brigade" leads the counterattack. After the "Mobile Trench Brigade" has defeated Vladmir's forces, it's revealed that the Monovision's influence on Vladimir has rendered his body like that of a newborn baby while maintaining his head and intellect. While no one is sure where the Monovisions came from or when they'll strike again, Frank remarks that the "Mobile Trench Brigade" will be there to fight the menace should it ever rise up again.

Iron Brigade is considered to be a hybrid game, mixing the gameplay of tower defense games with third-person shooters and incorporating role-playing video game elements. Players control a "trench", a giant war machine that can move about the battlefield as needed. The player's goal is to protect their base, the ship U.S.S. McKinley from increasingly difficult waves of Monovisions. Though a player's trench may be disabled by enemy attacks, the player can spend time to repair the machine and continue on; the game is only lost when the base is overrun by the Monovisions.During the attacks, the player has the ability to ground its trench at a fixed spot, or move about the field to fire on foes.
Before combat, the player customizes their equipment on their trench at the base. The choice of the hull for the trench will affect the number and types of weapons that can be loaded onto it.The player can also select which Emplacements they will carry, eventually targeting a location on the battlefield to place them. Emplacements provide both offensive capabilities well as defensive ones such as repulsing enemies back. As the player defeats the Monovisions, they will drop scrap pieces that can be used to repair, upgrade, and call in more Emplacements. After successfully winning a battle, the player gains rewards including new weapons and parts for their trench, and decorative hats similar to Team Fortress 2.The player will gain experience points towards both personal goals and "Regiment" goals, reflecting progress among the last several Xbox Live players that the player cooperated with. In a manner similar to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, new weapons and other customization options become available as the player gains level this way.Iron Brigade allows for up to four player co-operative gameplay.
